Three more families with children have managed to leave the temporarily occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets announced this on Facebook. One of the families lived in Enerhodar. They are employees of the currently seized Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, with a three-year-old child. Having refused to cooperate with the Russian pseudo-authorities, they have been subjected to searches, threats, intimidation, coercion, physical violence, detention, and interrogation.
Ukraine’s defense forces on Monday repelled 39 enemy attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors and three more assaults on the Kupiansk axis. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a situation update as of 18:00 on Monday, March 18, Ukrinform reports. In total, 56 combat engagements occurred on the front lines throughout the day, according to the General Staff.
美國洛杉磯2023年11月初發生駭人聽聞的肢解案，37歲中裔女子李梅（Mei Li，音譯）遇害，父母失蹤，李梅丈夫、荷里活知名製片人之子哈斯克爾（Samuel Haskell）被捕。據外媒2024年3月15日報道，法醫報告透露李梅多種可能死因，包括頭頸遭鈍器外傷、槍傷等，報告又指未能完全排除死前斬首的可能。
針對中國短影音社群平台「抖音」國際版TikTok的命運，白宮國家安全會議發言人柯比（John Kirby）17日重申，拜登政府支持國會要求TikTok的中國母公司「字節跳動」撤資，否則將面臨在美國被禁用的法案。
