Twelve bodies found under rubble of house in Dnipro remain unidentified


In Dnipro, 12 bodies and fragments found under the rubble of an apartment block hit by a Russian missile on January 14 remain unidentified.

“Russian missile claimed 45 lives. Twelve bodies and body fragments have not yet been identified. Only three people were identified over the past day. Seventeen people are considered missing, they may be among those who have not yet been identified,” Natalia Babachenko, adviser to the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said during the nationwide news telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As noted, the number of those killed and injured in the attack rose to 80 people. Yesterday, an 80-year-old woman with a concussion and a brain injury sought medical help.

Twenty-five people, including three children, remain in hospitals.

Babachenko added that three children became orphans.

According to preliminary information, four sections of the house are most likely to be uninhabitable following the missile attack. Currently, electricity and heat supplies are restored in most sections.

As reported, the Russians hit a 9-story apartment block in Dnipro city with a Kh-22 missile on January 14.
