美台執法單位合作成功案例！幾個月前，美國與台灣的執法部門成功合作逮捕一名旅居洛杉磯的鍾姓販毒嫌疑人。在此次行動中，美國與台灣的內政部警政署刑事警察局合作，由台灣的調查人員飛往美國，並陪同美國執法人員進行追捕工作。 這項行動體現了台灣犯罪調查局與美國國土安全部、緝毒局、聯邦調查局和洛杉磯警察局的成功合作。
U.S. and Taiwanese law enforcement cooperation has achieved a major milestone in making both Taiwan and the United States safer! U.S. and Taiwanese law enforcement coordinated to successfully arrest a Taiwanese national suspected of being a drug trafficker, surnamed Zhong , who was living in Los Angeles. Zhong is also suspected to be a key figure in the notorious Mingren Society of the Bamboo Union Gang.
In the operation, the United States worked with investigators from Taiwan’s National Police Agency Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB), who flew to the U.S. and accompanied U.S. law enforcement agents during the Zhong’s arrest. The effort reflected the successful collaboration between agents from Taiwan’s CIB and the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
