The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a war update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Yesterday, Russian forces targeted Ukrainian positions and settlements with three missile strikes (using 72 missiles) and 103 airstrikes, dropping 166 guided bombs. The enemy also launched over 5,300 artillery attacks, including 157 from MLRS, and used 2,696 kamikaze drones for strikes.
The Russian army carried out airstrikes outside Rozsoshi and Popivka in the Sumy region, Hraniv in the Kharkiv region, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Kostiantynopil, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Yablunivka, Zoria, Poltavka, Nova Poltavka, Popiv Yar, Oleksiivka, Myrne, Oleksandropil, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Pokrovsk, Horikhove, Perebudova, and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region, Zaliznychne and Novoivanivka in the Zaporizhzhia region and Mykolaivka in the Kherson region.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aircraft, missile and artillery forces hit 12 Russian troop and equipment concentrations areas, a command post, an electronic warfare station, five artillery pieces, and an air defense system.
In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four Russian attacks near Vovchansk and Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions four times but were stopped near Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, and Kupiansk.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy launched 17 assaults near Hrekivka, Torske, Yampolivka, and near Nove and Novomykhailivka.
In the Siversk sector, two Russian assaults were repelled near Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, nine battles were recorded outside Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk sector, 26 Russian attacks were stopped near Dyliivka, Druzhba, Dachne, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 24 Russian attacks were repelled near Yelyzavetivka, Tarasivka, Nadiivka, Promin, Lysivka, Oleksiivka, Andriivka, Ulakly, and in the direction of Nova Poltavka and Pokrovsk.
In the Novopavlivka sector, seven enemy attacks were stopped near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled four Russian attacks near Stepove and Piatykhatky.
In the Kursk operational zone, 26 Russian assaults were repelled. The enemy conducted 31 airstrikes (dropping 42 guided bombs) and launched 444 artillery attacks, including 20 MLRS strikes.
No active combat was reported in the Huliaipole and Dnipro River sectors.
No offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
